Producer Photographer Creative Architect
Sim King developed his craft inside elite creative environments, working within Underdog Entertainment and gaining hands-on experience in high-level music production and artist development. He was taken under the wing of music legend Steven Russell Harts—founding member of Troop and Grammy-winning songwriter—whose mentorship deeply shaped his musical direction. Sim King also worked out of Edmonds Towers, the iconic studio complex owned by Babyface, operating in an environment surrounded by major artists and producers known for defining contemporary R&B and pop music.
As a producer, Sim King contributed to significant commercial projects, including producing “Get You Loose” for Ruben Studdard’s debut album. He also recorded music with Mila J, sister of Jhené Aiko, who also worked closely with Steven Russell Harts. Beyond music, Sim King built a respected visual portfolio as a photographer and videographer, capturing figures such as Bill Duke—known for films including Predator, Commando, Menace II Society, and American Gigolo—as well as conducting a personal family photoshoot for boxing legend Shane Mosley ahead of his final fight. Sim King is also the longtime video editor and theme-music creator for Jossie Thacker, former Fly Girl, actress, producer, and acting coach. Today, under Sim King LLC, he stands as a multidisciplinary creator—producer, photographer, videographer, editor, and digital innovator—continuing to build immersive entertainment ecosystems that merge music, storytelling, and technology.
